I have decided to go a different route with this frame.. 3” knobby tires, mountain bike forks w/ a front disc brake. Still need to offset the chain about a quarter inch right off the front sprocket and I’ll have enough room to run all six rear gears.

Couple sets of 26” forks.. couple quick release front wheels.. scrap cedar out of the construction dumpster down the street.. hand full of screws later I have myself a cart worthy enough to make moving a 17’ canoe a while lot easier.
