Attleboro Garden Club

Attleboro Garden Club Dedicated to education and beautification through horticulture for the community. Annual dues are $40.

The Attleboro Garden Club provides the opportunity for members to attend two meetings a month from October through June each year. Day meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month and evening meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month. While some club events are open to the pubic, and are advertised as such, most events are for members only. A beautiful visit to The Hosta Farm of Mendon, a nursery known for its incredible selection of hostas and aquatic plants.

We fully intended to focus on the hostas, but the aquatic flowers had other plans. The water lilies and pond blooms were so beautiful, they completely distracted the photographer.

That said, hosta lovers should know: there were well over a hundred varieties of hostas to admire, from bold and dramatic to soft, subtle, and beautifully textured.

A wonderful stop for gardeners looking for inspiration, unique plants, or just a peaceful place to wander among some very happy leaves and blooms.
