We repaired all of the damaged sheathing and installed insulation plus house wrap after tearing off the old James Hardie siding, and each window got new 1x4 trim wrapped in aluminum. Fresh LP SmartSide board and batten now up in this Germantown neighborhood! Full of character out here, so we made sure the new siding fit right in while upgrading everything underneath, and even over 150 LF of new smooth LP soffits and a ton of fascia repairs. Siding’s done, now it needs paint and new gutters to finish it out.

Board and batten like this lets the homeowner pick their own trim combo and color, so it’s never a cookie cutter look. Norton Vinyl’s siding crew handled this one.

Flat roofs in West Tennessee take a beating — heat, humidity, and standing water will destroy them if the system isn’t right. This one had exposed nails on a self-adhering system, which means whoever installed it either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care. We tore it all off, replaced rotted tongue and groove decking, and put down a brand new CertainTeed Self-Adhering Modified Bitumen in Black. Done right this time.

This was one of the most fun projects we’ve had in a while.

We tore off about 600 sq ft of stone and mortar that had been trapping moisture and rotting out the sheathing underneath. Replaced all the fiberboard with new plywood, then built back up the right way.

10 new energy efficient windows — including 2 framing cutouts we added to bring in a ton of natural light. Then we installed Westlake Royal Building Products Board and Batten in Urban Bronze with all black aluminum trim, soffits, and insulation board underneath for energy efficiency.

The finished product speaks for itself.

We’ve been doing this exact work for over 20 years. The way we install and the way we treat people is what keeps us busy.
