Good afternoon folks!!

We have some REALLY big news!!!

Thanks to the amazing Mike Dement with Security Solutions, Inc. and the incredible support of The Covington Country Club, we are holding an auction for our bestest buddy Braxton "The Brick" Seward on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.

As most of you know, Braxton has been diagnosed with Lymphoma and is receiving treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. He is an amazing young man and a true fighter, but we all can use some help from time to time. This auction is being held to provide support for Braxton and his family as they ensure that he gets the best care possible. We know that our phenomenal community will "Show Up and Show Out" for Braxton and his family!!!

So far, we have the following vendors who have donated their time and/or services for auction:

Cupped Wings Guide Service (Mr. Jake Ellis)
-A two-day ALL INCLUSIVE (lodging and meals) Snow Goose Conservation hunt for a group up to 6 hunters. It is for the 2026/2027 Season
-A two-day hunt only for ducks in the morning and specs in the evening for a group of 4 hunters. This will take place during in the 2027/2028 season due to full capacity booking for this season.

There's a hidden layer between your grass and its roots.

It's called thatch — a mat of old stems and runners that builds up right at the soil line. A thin layer is normal and even protective. But when it gets thick, it works like a raincoat on your soil: water beads off, fertilizer never reaches the roots, and insects find a cozy hotel. Bermuda builds thatch faster than most grasses because of how it spreads. Core aeration punches through the mat and gets everything moving down where it belongs again.
