A moment at one of our projects on Lake Toxaway. We played with texture on the side porch posts, adding curtain-like brackets to add depth, shadow, and weight to the architecture. After several years, weathering has added depth of color as well.

Another view of our Ansley Park project. The gravel area will eventually be the formal lawn aligning with the main rooms of the house. Later this week, the balustrade will be installed on the rear upper porch to complete the overall architectural look and feel.
