Daily Care
* Wipe spills immediately – Marble is porous and can stain from wine, coffee, lemon juice, or oils.
* Use a soft cloth + pH-neutral cleaner – Avoid vinegar, bleach, or acidic sprays (they cause etching).
* Dry after cleaning – Prevents water spots and dullness.

Preventing Damage
* Always use cutting boards – Marble scratches more easily than granite.
* Use trivets for hot pots – Heat won’t burn marble, but thermal shock can weaken sealers or cause discoloration.
* Avoid acidic foods sitting on the surface – Citrus, tomato sauce, vinegar = etching risk.

How Often Should Marble Be Sealed?
Typical rule:
* Every 6–12 months for kitchen countertops
* Every 12–24 months for bathroom vanities or low-use areas
Quick water test:�Drip a few drops of water on the marble.
* If it darkens within 1–2 minutes → reseal soon
* If water beads up → sealer is still working
