This stain was oddly caused by the client steam ironing a fabric item that was not color fast directly on the carpeted floor. This resulted in fugitive dye pigment spreading by steam over to the carpet. Alot of times bright, brillent color fabric particuarly cotton hold alot of extra dye pigment that has never completly adhered to the fabric. Carpet does have acid dye receptors so staining did occur. With a few steps I was able to provide this quality repair.

I completed a carpet repair job in Kirkwood neighborhood on an older berber carpet. The 30 pound dog belonging to the owners damaged the basement doorway carpet. The client is very satisfied with the results that will extend the life of the carpet for a couple more years.

A lot of times doorways cut at a 45-degree angle leave the carpet vulnerable in the transition and susceptible to damage. The construction of the carpet's backing is likely to begin delamination, as shown. A lot of additional sealer is needed on carpet cut like this.

Just finished fixing an oddly shaped pet damage spot in a doorway. The carpet was badly worn and dirty, requiring extra sealer for added durability. As it wears in, the repair will become less noticeable. I'm confident the repair will hold strong for the carpet's remaining life.
