Maintenance on a couple 85 yr old chimneys. Two new chimney crowns, penetrating stone sealer and crack repair. The Pigeon River Discovery Center is located in the heart of Pigeon River Country. It was once the residence of the Forester who was in charge of the entire area. He and his family lived here many years. Today it's a cross between a time capsule and a museum. I'm honored to be able to work on it.

How's this for a "before and after"? The old Onaway Stone chimney was falling apart. I was able to stabilize it, cover it with natural stone and cap the whole works off with a new concrete crown. A little more modern looking and a lot more water tight.

One of our big summer storms took down a pine limb and ruined the crown on this old chimney. We were able to remove the old crown, patch up the brick, replace the top sections of flue liners and cast a new crown. Good as new!
