When an alarm is tripped, most security dispatch carriers rely on obtaining a verified response by calling the homeowner. If the homeowner cannot take the call from the response team at the time of the tripped alarm, that incident goes to the bottom of the dispatch list. Vivint’s two-way voice feature on the Sky Control Panel adds an additional layer in obtaining a Verified Response. The Vivint response team is able to listen for verbal or non-verbal cues or sounds through the Panel that might indicate that a crime is occurring. If a Verified Response is obtained in this manner, that incident goes to the top of the dispatch list, thus increasing the chances of catching the perpetrator!
