Atlanta Realtors...Did you know that residential and commercial buildings built before 1993 in an unincorporated section of DeKalb must comply with the county's Inefficient Plumbing Fixture Replacement Plan Ordinance???
The ordinance requires new owners to remove any plumbing fixture that does not meet certain low-flow standards and replace them with water-conserving fixtures before the future owner can apply for and get water service.
Unfortunately, most buyers don’t learn about the ordinance until they receive mandatory disclosures with their contract.
This can often lead to concerns about the potential cost of having to replace non-compliant plumbing fixtures.
Our Low-Flow Plumbing Fixture Inspection can help your clients learn about a home’s compliance status. And if eligible, we'll provide them with the Certificate of Compliance required by the Watershed Department.
