Bats love tin roofs!

Bats are known to roost in not only caves, but voids found high in the air. This is why attics make the perfect place to live, as it is essentially a huge cave up high and away from predators.

Tin roofs are a very common place for Bats to make a home. The same areas left open for air to flow, makes a perfect entrance and exit point for a bat. The ridge vent is one of the most common places we see bats taking advantage of.

All the baby squirrels!!

Grey Squirrels typically give birth during Early Spring, and Late Summer here in GA. If weather conditions are right, we have even found babies during winter!! 🐿

With the extensive heat this year, the baby squirrel calls have been coming in left and right!! I dont expect it to let up any time soon!

When it comes to IDing a snake, it can become very tricky! There are multiple different species of watersnake that can resemble venomous sepcies. While they do share similar colors and patterns as other venomous species, water snakes are in fact a non-venomous snake!

This watersnake was found on a glueboard trap inside the callers garage. This snake has now been released back into the wild!

Here is one of our calls from the last two weeks!
These raccoon kits had lost their mother, and were being taken care of by the staff of Waffle House HQ in Norcross Georgia!

We were able to hand catch these kits and take them to Kristy at Possumbilities !

This is footage from a recent job of ours! This Mother was nesting in our customers attic space, in an inaccessible area of the attic. By using humane techniques, we urged the mother to move her babies to a secondary den site, outside of the attic!

Raccoons will typically have multiple den sites picked out in the event of a predator. This mother took each of her kits, one by one to a New location. Once she finally left, we then sealed the exterior entry points to prevent this issue going forward!

🦌Muntjac Deer have been nicknamed the 👽 Alien Deer due to their glands on their face! These glands are used to communicate with other muntjacs, and mark their territory!

For Marvin, he has no problem with letting you know whose boss!!

Spotted Skunks are one of my favorite solitary animals!
When treatened, they will perform a handstand as a warning before spraying predators right in their face!

This act makes them appear larger, as well as, flashing their white and black coat to warn of their dangerous rump!!

If you come across a skunk doing a hand stand, just know that thing is locked and loaded!!

It is now Bat Season at Sanders Wildlife! From April 1st, to July 31st, Brown bats raise their young in maternity colonies.

During this time we are legally not allowed to evict any maternity colonies out of an attic spaces. This is to ensure each colony is given their best chance to thrive! After this time, we must install devices that will let the bats leave an attic without being able to return. This means in most cases we dont even have to touch a bat! In this instance, this little brown bat found its way inside the garage and needed a hand! These bats will relocate to another attic, tree cavity, or bat roost close by with their family!
