We’re Breaking New Ground!

We are excited to announce our partnership with MEJA Construction for the development of our new office space, scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2027. This morning, our CEO, Burt Bailey; CFO, Eric Kornegay; and our Project Executive from MEJA, Don Hulon, gathered to share prayers and insights about our upcoming building. Other attendees included our board members, operations, dispatchers, office administrative staff, and our outstanding Sales team.

Guests had the opportunity to take home glass vials filled with dirt, delivered by tandem driver Kyle Harrison, as a memento from today’s ceremony. Adding to the significance, the tandem truck used for the dirt delivery made its inaugural drop today, symbolizing new beginnings for both the truck and our project. We’d also like to thank Corner Stone Coffee for providing coffee for our event.

In honor of yesterday being National Intern Day, we have to take the time to highlight our two summer interns.

Hayley Foust (left) has worked in our Tyrone office as a member of our billing team for close to a year. Hayley will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Business at the University of Georgia in the fall.

Reece Bailey (right) has worked with CSC seasonally for a couple of years now. She initially supported our Fayetteville office where she checked tickets and greeted new customers. She recently worked in our Tyrone office for close to a year, supporting our admin teams and marketing department. Reece will be majoring in Nursing at the University of Alabama in the fall.

We talked about CSC's background; now let's talk more about the event!

The night included dinner, entertainment, speeches, and many giveaways. But the most important part of the program was notably the awards section. We distributed awards in three categories: Core Values Award, Five Years of Safe Driving Award, and the Pioneer Award. It’s important to recognize all of the hard work our owners put in every day. It takes a lot to do the work that we do, and we appreciate everyone here. Keep an eye out for the breakdown of the 2026 award recipients!

Recapping Owner's Appreciation Night, 2026 Pt.1

Hosting 400 owners in one room is no small feat, but once a year we pull it off. On July 18th, we gathered our drivers, accountants, billing specialist, mechanics, managers, and office administrators for our annual Owners Appreciation Night. However, this year’s celebration was extra special as the company celebrated 75 years of reliable hauling and delivery.

Concrete Supply Company takes being a family-oriented business to heart, as CSC has experienced three generations of family leadership. Our former CEOs, Crawford Bailey and Larry Bailey, and our current CEO, Burt Bailey, were all in attendance, accompanied by their families.

There is one factor that sets Concrete Supply Company apart: we are proudly driven by owners. As an ESOP, everyone who works for CSC is an owner of the company. We are also thrilled to have broadened our operational reach and capabilities to serve both North Georgia (CSC-North Division) and South Georgia, along with Alabama. CSC indeed transports bulk materials, and we also transport equipment under our Equipment Logistics Services division. There are a lot of moving parts here, and that is why we celebrate.
