This past weekend, we spent the afternoon at MODA exploring their current exhibit: THREADS of CHANGE. As part of the visit, Christine Wertheim—artist, author, and co-creator of the Crochet Coral Reef spoke about the evolution of the project and how it bridges craft, science, and environmental advocacy. We’re proud to help sponsor this meaningful exhibition.

We’re excited to break ground on the next-generation, multi-story prototype elementary school for Fulton County Schools. Thoughtfully designed to maximize a compact site, the new 137,000 SF campus will serve up to 1,000 students with bright, secure, and flexible learning environments. A smart footprint, timeless materials, and community-minded spaces set the stage for the future of education.

Big congratulations to our own Ziheng Li, recipient of the 2025 AIA Georgia Merit Award for his thesis, The Seed: A New Farming System That Bridges Urban and Rural Areas. In a time when the gap between cities and the countryside continues to grow, Ziheng’s work imagines new ways to reconnect people, land, and opportunity. To end Architecture Week, we’re looking back at a project that’s both a monument and a milestone. The Millennium Gate may stand as a finished piece, but behind it are still the same sketches, ideas, revisions, and lessons learned we’ve explored this week. Design doesn’t just live in our process, it lives in the places we leave behind.
Happy International Day of Monuments and Sites!
