Fireplace Rehab:
Took an old flagstone fireplace from the 80s and updated it. Framed out for a dimensional effect and to create a frame to attach the shiplap planks. Cleaned and primed the stone with Loxon masonry primer. Then painted the shiplap and stone with Sherwin Williams Pro-classic in a satin sheen.
New mantel is rough-sawn pine with Early American stain and a polyurethane clear coat.

This custom hood vent was built for a beautiful home in Vickery Village in Cu***ng, GA. Built out of rough-sawn pine plank with Early American stain, and a penetrating oil-based sealer. The warmth of this rustic hood vent goes well with the brick veneer backsplash and makes for a great centerpiece for an already beautiful kitchen.
