Belly to back, one skill at a time!

Learning to roll from their belly to their back is an important water safety skill that helps swimmers find a position where they can float and take a breath.

With guidance from their instructor, this swimmer is practicing body control and connecting skills that can help them become more independent in the water.

Sometimes learning to float means unlearning a few habits first. 💙

Hands out of the mouth, arms by the sides and body relaxed. With patient guidance from their instructor, little swimmers learn how small adjustments can help their bodies settle into a safer, stronger back float.

It takes practice, trust and repetition, and we love watching that confidence grow lesson after lesson.

What if the pool was also a classroom? 👀

Swimming helps children build confidence, coordination and problem-solving skills that carry into everyday life. Research shows children ages 3–5 who swim regularly may be ahead in math skills.

The benefits of swimming go far beyond the water. 💙

Real-life water situations aren't always predictable.

During our annual Water Safety Week, swimmers have the opportunity to practice skills while wearing everyday clothes, helping them experience how movement changes in the water while building confidence and coordination.

Every year, the Global Leadership Summit reminds us that leadership is about more than growing professionally. It's about growing personally so we can better serve the people who count on us.

This week, Aqua-Tots Headquarters and our partner teams are honored to attend two days of leadership development. Together, we're being challenged to think differently, lead with greater intention, and return to our teams with fresh perspectives.

Thank you to the Global Leadership Network and to One Life Church for opening your doors and creating a space where leaders can learn, connect, and grow together!
