Adding Shiplap to your home creates all kinds of possibilities for you to transform. You're living space. Shiplap comes in many different styles and sizes. A very common style of ship lap is called V-Groove. this particular style has a reversible profie so that on one side you can have a flat edge beveled at the tonguing & groove joint the other side has a bead board profile
milled into it. Shiplap is an excellent addition to a ceiling, porch ceiling, or an accent wall, even an entire room. It can also be used on the exterior of the home as well if it is sealed properly after installation. It comes in random widths and lenths. The most common are 4, 6, & 8 in widths. It also comes in random lengths 8, 12, 16 ft Although you will find some dealers sell random lenths. Shiplap adds a classic beauty that is both traditional and contemporary. And the price depending on what type of wood you select eg. Cedar, Pine, Red oak, etc. is not too high, esp. considering the ROI it will yield.
