Small bathroom, major transformation.

This Atlanta bathroom received a complete visual and functional upgrade, replacing the dated neutral finishes with a cleaner, brighter design full of character. This project is a great example of how thoughtful material choices can completely change a smaller bathroom. You do not always need to relocate every fixture or dramatically change the floor plan to achieve a major transformation. Turning unused space into a fully connected, custom-built closet addition.

This second-floor area originally had an open walkway leading to a far closet. We framed a new floor and wall system, enclosed the opening, and created an entirely new room that now serves as a second closet.

To make the addition feel original to the home, we installed red oak hardwood flooring to match the existing second floor, finished with DuraSeal stain, Bona sealer, and three coats of Bona Traffic HD for long-term durability.

We also installed a modern frosted-glass door with a magnetic latch and designed a custom staircase within an extremely tight space, creating direct access between the downstairs primary closet and the new second-floor closet. The new room now has two entrances: the modern upstairs door and the custom staircase from below.

The project also included:

• Complete interior painting
• New 2-inch recessed lighting downstairs
• Electrical repairs and corrections throughout the work area
• Custom trim, stair treads, railings, drywall, and finish carpentry
• Careful integration with the home’s existing architectural details

A fairly complex project with a lot of planning, precision, and creative problem-solving—but definitely one of the most interesting transformations we have completed.

This one was completely taken down to the studs and rebuilt from the ground up — transforming a basic builder-grade bathroom into a clean, modern, high-end space.

Kids’ Bathroom Remodel in Atlanta, GA | Remodels By Leo

Another beautiful bathroom transformation completed in Atlanta, Georgia. This project was a full kids’ bathroom remodel with a new Kohler cast iron tub, upgraded finishes, and custom details that make the space both practical and high-end.

We installed a new tub surround, built a stunning illuminated shower niche, replaced & replumbed a double vanity, completed the space with frameless glass, new flooring, fresh paint, updated trim, and handled all necessary plumbing, electrical, and toilet installation. We also built out the nook shelving for extra storage and a cleaner finished look. We also replaced all cast iron pipes with new schedule 40 PVC.

This is the kind of remodel that completely changes how a bathroom feels and functions — cleaner, brighter, more modern, and built to last.
