There is something undeniably classic about Taj Mahal quartzite.

For this project, we took that timeless creamy, gold-veined beauty and extended it right up the wall with a full-height backsplash. Not only does this create a stunning, seamless focal point in the kitchen, but it also makes maintenance incredibly easy... no grout lines to worry about behind the range!

To finish it off, this customer chose a Dupont edge. That intricate edge profile adds an extra layer of traditional elegance that pairs beautifully with the dark cabinetry. It’s these thoughtful details that really bring a kitchen’s design together.

August kept our team incredibly busy!

Here is just a quick snippet of what we were up to this month. We had so many incredible projects, but we wanted to highlight a few of these stunning details.

This month featured everything from a chef-ready kitchen with a massive island to unique commercial applications like custom stone windowsills at MIT.

We installed a gorgeous Perla Verde by Viatera full-height backsplash (bringing in the perfect grey with a touch of green), and fabricated a striking Black Forest Granite kitchen complete with a stone shelf, full backsplash, and a clean eased edge.

We also wrapped up a beautiful new kitchen and bathroom featuring Taj Mahal, updated the Cyr Kitchen and Bath showroom, and headed back to the State House for another round of bathroom refreshes.

Keeping your natural wood cabinets during a kitchen update? The secret to making them feel fresh and timeless is all in the stone you pair them with.

For this project, the answer was Taj Mahal countertops. If you haven’t explored Taj Mahal before, it’s a natural quartzite. You get the soft, elegant veining of marble, but with the durability that easily stands up to daily kitchen life.

Notice how the creamy beige and subtle grey undertones bridge the warm wood cabinetry and the cool, modern herringbone backsplash perfectly. It elevates the space without making it feel cold, outdated, or washed out.

Stick close to the people who encourage you to make good decisions... and for the record, a granite trim around your hot tub is always a good decision.

To give this beautiful pool a custom, high-end feel, we used Silver Pearl Granite in a leathered finish to seamlessly bridge the hot tub and the pool.

If you’re planning to use stone outdoors... whether it’s for a pool area, outdoor kitchen, fire pit, or otherwise, here are 3 reasons why we love granite for outdoor applications:
