For this kitchen, the homeowners chose a polished finish, which beautifully highlights the stone’s natural, translucent layers and warm, amber veining. To elevate the design even further, we carried the Taj Mahal up the walls for a full-height slab backsplash.

Not only does a full-height backsplash create a stunning, continuous visual flow, but it is also incredibly practical. No grout lines behind the range means cleanup is as simple as a quick wipe-down.

September has been FULL.

Full of fun, full of beautiful stone, and full of great projects to usher in the fall season.

This month our team kept busy. Back to the NH StateHouse VisitorCenter for phase 2 of their bathroom renovation project, finishing up outdoor kitchen season with a few more installs just in time for football season, templates, installations (big and small), custom applications like an entire wall of Silver Stream granite and a gorgeous waterfall island in Belvedere granite... just to name a few!

There is nothing quite like a waterfall edge to make a kitchen island feel like a custom piece of art.

For this project, our client chose Calacatta Matarazzo, a Dolomite Marble) to complement these gorgeous deep espresso wood cabinets. The bold, expressive veining on the island serves as the perfect centerpiece, especially with the mitered waterfall edge that flows seamlessly down to the hardwood floors. It creates such a beautiful contrast and a sleek, modern edge int his home.
