Tri-state Land & Timber LLC specializes in several kinds of timber harvest operations. One of these includes Final harvest operations .

Below are pictures from a recent Final harvest that one of our contractors completed.

The goal of a final harvest is to harvest all trees In a specific area. These trees have reached maturity and growth has severely slowed. Once all the trees are harvested, this leaves, a blank canvas for new trees to regenerate. These trees grow rapidly and have a larger, environmental and economic impact. Tri-state also assist landowners with regeneration, and applying for cost share after harvest. 

As you can see, this logger was able to complete the goal flawlessly. Tri-state prides itself on only contracting with the best loggers in the area. Please reach out if you have any timber that needs final harvesting in the future.

Tri-state land & Timber specializes in several kinds of timber harvest operations. One of these includes silvicultural thinning.

Below are pictures from a recent silvicultural thinning that one of our contractors completed.

The goal of a silvicultural thinning is to remove the smaller or lower quality trees, so that the remaining trees can grow faster with less competition for nutrients and sunlight. All this while disturbing the site as little as possible.

As you can see, this logger was able to complete the goal flawlessly. You can hardly tell he was there. Tri-state prides itself on only contracting with the best loggers in the area. Please reach out if you have any timber that needs thinning or final harvesting in the future.
