Grayson Carter & Son was proud to join our partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of Westmoore Landing, an exciting new community taking shape in North Alabama.
Spanning more than 400 acres west of historic Mooresville, Westmoore Landing has been thoughtfully planned to create a place where people can live, work and connect. The community will offer a variety of living options, including single-family homes, townhomes, cottages and apartments, complemented by businesses, parks, trails and gathering spaces that bring the entire community together.
But the vision for Westmoore Landing goes beyond what will be built here. It is about rethinking how communities can address some of the challenges we face today, from creating more attainable housing options to bringing people together and being responsible stewards of the land.
That purpose can be seen in the way the community itself was laid out. For generations, hamlets, villages and town centers were created around places that naturally brought people together, with streets, homes and gathering spaces shaped by the land around them. Westmoore Landing draws from those same principles, creating intentional connections between neighborhoods, shared spaces and the natural landscape rather than simply placing development on a map.
Projects like Westmoore Landing give us the opportunity to be part of something long before the finished community takes shape. What begins today with dirt being moved and infrastructure going in will eventually become streets people travel every day, places families call home and spaces where a community comes together. We are proud that our work is part of those first steps and even prouder knowing what is being built here will have an impact for years to come.
