Growth goes both ways — and James is proof.

From leading by example as a supervisor to now stepping into VP of Operations, James has always believed in pouring into the next generation, because that's exactly what NexGen poured into him. That's IMPACT in action.

Being a professional starts with caring enough to learn.

Victor's soaking up decades of know-how from the guys who came before him, building himself up right alongside the company. That's IMPACT in action.

Every lift starts long before the crane ever moves.

At NexGen, our supervisors like James Shackelford in Hamilton, MS, are the ones making sure every detail is locked in — from approving lift plans to leading the 6 a.m. safety meeting that sets the tone for the day.

When you sign off on a lift plan, you're not just signing a document. You're ensuring the load stays secure, the rigging holds, and every person on that job site goes home safely.

That's the weight of the role — and James carries it well.

Three words to describe NexGen crane operators? Strategic, careful, and prepared.

No matter what kind of lift they’re tackling, our operators approach each situation strategically and safely. Big or small, every move matters in crane operations.
