🚽 THINK BEFORE YOU FLUSH! 🚽
Many products are labeled as "flushable," but the truth is that flushable wipes are NOT truly septic-safe. Unlike toilet paper, wipes do not break down quickly and can accumulate in your septic tank, clog pipes, damage pumps, and lead to costly repairs. They are also not truly biodegradable in the way many people assume.
To keep your septic system working properly, NEVER flush:
❌ Flushable wipes
❌ Baby wipes
❌ Sanitary products (tampons, pads, applicators)
❌ Disinfecting and cleaning wipes
❌ Tissues
❌ Paper towels
❌ Napkins
❌ Diapers (cloth, cotton, disposable, or plastic)
❌ Cardboard products
❌ Fabrics, rags, or cotton products
Remember the rule of the 3 P's:
✅ P*e
✅ P**p
✅ Toilet Paper
That's it!
Protect your septic system, avoid expensive repairs, and help keep wastewater flowing properly by only flushing the 3 P's. When in doubt, throw it out! 🗑️
A little prevention today can save you thousands tomorrow.
