A sweet friend gave me this old treadle sewing machine. It had been exposed the elements in its resent history and abandoned. The wood was peeling the metals had started rusting. I decided to disassemble it and stip it down to its best parts. It’s looking better already.

I’m so suprised with its transformation. After I cleaned it up I designed a rustic removable tray-top and lined the two shelves with the same rustic wood. It has a new life♥️

Patience it so often the answer when projects take a turn for the worse.
After cleaning and stripping these leather top nesting tables the color dried so orange. Ugh!
Slowing down, trying another layer of darker stain, waiting, wiping it off just the right way at the right time and
ya-da! All fixed ♥️ now I love them.

Elementary School …the good ol’ days♥️ These chairs are getting a new life for another generation to enjoy.
Disassemble, degrease, sand, stain ,paint twiddle thumbs while it dries and reassemble.
Repeat!
A set of 4 redesigned chairs will be available at the MyRedesign Spring Sale this coming Friday and Saturday.
