Prairie Coneflower (Ratibida columnifera), also commonly known as the Mexican Hat plant, is a tough, drought-tolerant native wildflower. Grows 1-3’ tall in average well drained soils. Full sun and hardy in zones 3-9. Blooms are yellow and rich burgundy. Seeds will be available by the end of the year.

Fireweed (Chamaenerion angustifolium) grows to a height of 3-7’. Showy, four-petaled pink to rose-purple blooms mid-summer through early fall. Hardy in zones 2-7. The seeds are so minuscule we will not be offering the seed but hopefully plugs. The tiny looking pepper flakes in the photo are the seeds!

I had several sweet walks through the wildflower garden today with customers. Amazing conversations start out there! Wild senna (Senna hebecarpa) is in full bloom and a new plant for me this year. It grows 3-6’, prefers a sunny location and rich moist soil and hardy in zones 4-8.
