Finished this floor yesterday started out with laminate on top and the homeowner wanted to take up the laminate and put underlayment down to stop noise under floor then replaced the laminate but when i saw the hardwood underneath and what it could look like i told them it would be ashame to cover it up. So here it is three days of sanding preparing staining and polly with a shine afterwards.

Dougherty Handyman Services wild like to thank all our loyal customer who have stuck by us through this trying time. The trials of life and business can be over powering at times and we can become blind to what's around us but through the grace of God and the family we have created in our customers, we are making that come back and we are stronger and more determined then ever. For that we thank you. To those who don't know we have went through a adjustment of sorts, we are now a smaller company with a little bit less to offer as of now but sometimes the that can be a better way to go. This company was built on honesty, integrity, and and the simple fact our word was better then a piece of paper, but through the integration of help and leading roles I have lost sight of all that and let the lead role become lost in my desire to help. But no more I am in full control again and the other is gone for good. To the ones that were hurt during this I truly an deeply apologize and would like to repair those relationships if possible.

It has been a long couple months working 20 hours a day sleeping for an hour or two and then back at it but at the end of the day I wouldn't change a minute of it. It's not the money or the jobs, or even the fact that I am the boss. It's the satisfaction you get when you see that look on someone's (a homeowners) face, that says "Wow its beautiful". Its the happiness you can see in the family's faces, its knowing that you made something that will help them make a house a home! It's that moment when everything is done and you look back at the beginning photos and nothing looks the same.
