My favorite part about having this business: i just keep learning new skills and trying to master them. This spring I really wanted to focus on getting professional results with my pressure wash system.
Some may think “whats there to learn about pressure washing? You just spray muck and make it go away. Well as you can see from the last photo, this customer attempted washing their patio with their own pressure washer, and realized its much more than just a quick rinse.
I built a custom adjustable inline injector for my pressure system. I use that to spray a precise ratiod mix of Sodium Hydrochloride (SH/industrial bleach), and a SH Enhancer. The SH enhancer masks the smell of the chlorine so it doesnt smell like a pool after its been cleaned, as well as helps the mix cling to surfaces so the chemicals can dwell better.
Once the patio is pre rinsed, it gets an SH mix bath. That bath then dwells on the surface for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how bad the organic build up is.
After the mix dwells, I hit it with a surface scrubber. Basically that’s just a spinning brush with jets that rolls around on wheels. Once thats done, the muck gets sprayed off and rinsed with low pressure. Then i come in with a turbo nozzle to clean up edges and get spots that might have been missed with the surface cleaner.
After all of that, it gets a thorough rinse. Since there is bleach in the mix, the plants that are nearby need to be flushed with clean water as well so they dont get burned.
This whole patio took a handful of hours, and it lead to another happy customer!
