Meet the Man Behind the Blueprint: James Martin

Precision. Craftsmanship. Reliability. These aren’t just words they’re the standard James Martin holds every day as Production Manager and Senior Draft Technician at Jarrett Concrete.
From drafting the technical details to overseeing production on the floor, James makes sure every project is right before it ever leaves the yard. When he’s not on the clock, you’ll find him:
Reeling one in on the water
Cracking open an ice cold Diet Coke
Savoring a good meal with the people who matter most
But that’s not all. James has a genuine appreciation for a classic ’54 Corvette, a fascination with electrical vaults, and a soft spot for the raw power of a 966 front loader.

One size doesn’t fit every job and that’s especially true when it comes to concrete pipe.

Reinforced concrete pipe comes in a wide range of diameters, with common sizes ranging from around 12 inches all the way up to 12 feet, depending on the project and manufacturer.

Smaller-diameter pipe can handle things like local drainage and smaller stormwater flows, while larger pipe is used when a system needs to move a much greater volume of water like under roadways, highways, and large developments.

The right pipe size is determined by things like expected water flow, drainage area, slope, and site conditions.

At Jarrett Concrete, we manufacture concrete pipe to keep projects moving and water flowing where it needs to go.
