Before you pick a cabinet or a countertop, there's a more important question to answer: how do you actually use your outdoor space?

There’s one outdoor kitchen mistake you don’t want to make.

The countertop materials that work well indoors don’t always work well outdoors.

Standard quartz, our most popular indoor countertop, is actually not recommended for outdoor use. The resins in most quartz break down with UV exposure over time, causing discoloration and structural changes. Marble tends to weather and stain faster outside than most people expect.

For outdoor applications, sintered stone is the top recommendation right now. It handles UV exposure, moisture, temperature swings, and scratches better than almost anything else. Granite is another solid option if you prefer natural stone, as long as you're willing to reseal it periodically.

It's an easy mistake to make, and we'd rather walk you through it before you commit.
