Meet the Designer: Bonnie Hester! 🏡
Bonnie will celebrate 9 years with the HomeSource family this December, and her path here is one of our favorite stories. Back in the fall of 2001, she found herself out of work and glued to shows like Hometime and This Old House, and she got completely hooked on remodeling. With no design background, she responded to an ad in her local Lehigh County, PA newspaper, wrote a strong cover letter, and talked her way into a job that trained her from the ground up. Sixteen years later, she made her way to Asheville, and the rest is history.
Ask Bonnie to describe her design style, and she'll give you three words: budget conscious comfort. She loves a good kitchen or closet (she's an organization girl at heart!), and she enjoys creating spaces people actually love spending time in every day, even during everyday stuff like laundry.
A few fun facts: Bonnie was raised on a dairy farm and spent years in 4-H raising cows and pigs; she never says no to a concert; her go-to order is a pumpkin spice or vanilla latte (all year round), and if you ask her mountains, beach, or lake, she's picking lake every time.
We're so glad to have Bonnie on our team! If you’re interested in working with Bonnie on your next project, schedule an appointment using the link below.
