This installation definitely kept things interesting, especially working around the staircase. Not every window is an easy one to reach, but that’s part of the fun of what we do!

Another commercial project in the books! 💪🏢

This one features LLumar NRMPS2 Frost Film paired with LLumar RHE20 Exterior Film for a combination of privacy, aesthetics, and solar control.

The NRMPS2 Frost gives the glass a clean, modern look while adding privacy, while the RHE20 exterior film helps reduce heat and glare and adds another layer of performance to the glass.

🛡️ Security film is only as strong as its attachment.

We just installed 8 mil security film with a 1/2” attachment using DOW 995 structural silicone.

Why is the attachment so important? In an impact, the film helps hold the broken glass together—but the perimeter attachment helps keep that glass/film system anchored in place.

8 mil film + proper attachment = a stronger security glazing system. 💪

A small office in Knoxville reached out to us after employees kept complaining about glare on their computer screens every afternoon, along with rooms that stayed uncomfortably warm no matter how low they set the thermostat. It's a pattern we see often in offices and storefronts with large, unshaded windows.

Why does this happen?
Untreated glass allows solar heat and glare to pass through freely, especially in west-facing rooms during peak afternoon sun. This forces HVAC systems to work harder while also making screens difficult to see, which affects both comfort and energy costs.
