It’s move out day… Like most other small businesses, covid made us re think how we ran our business. As a company we needed to become a more lean and efficient, however getting rid of employees was not an option for us. The same employees that helped us build the company we are today were at no point on the lost of things to eliminate. Closing both design centers and moving into a more centralized larger design center was what we needed to do, so we made it happen…..

GOOD AFTERNOON FACEBOOK FRIENDS!

KBF by Audi is teaming up with a nonprofit group, "In the Gap", to collect back to school items for over 100 families in need for the 2021-2022 school year!

In the Gap, founded by Glenn Wooten of Leesburg, aims to help people in need who don’t quite qualify financially for government assistance. Wooten describes the organization as a “movement”.

“We’re trying to start a movement where people don’t just sit on the sideline,” Wooten said.

Individuals can donate gently used and new items such as backpacks, notebooks, pens, pencils, coats, hats, and gloves. All items must be donated by Aug. 15, ahead of the Aug. 16 distribution date to the recipient families.

Donations can be dropped off at KBF's newest Design Center location, 44710 Cape Court Unit 138, Ashburn, VA 20147 between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm.

Good Morning family and friends, I would like to share a recent kitchen remodel we completed in Ashburn.

After completing the client’s basement renovation, they asked us to go upstairs and give them advice on their entire outdated first floor. After walking the space and listening to the clients wants, the vision was clear as day, open up the space and create a kitchen/table space that is way more functional for their family of five.

Our design team quickly got to work by removing the wall between the kitchen and old dining room. We also opened the walls in the living room to create a more open entire first floor. By removing the bay window in the old dining room and installing one large window it allowed the client to enjoy the beautiful views of their private backyard. We moved the kitchen from the center of the house into the old dining room which allowed us to install two large islands and create a way more functional space to fit the needs of their entire family.


The design team used a mix of colors including white & deep navy cabinetry with gold fixtures and white appliances to bring the clients vision to reality. We also used wide plank European white oak floors to give the entire first floor a more calm and airy feeling.


We pride ourselves on our service and our process which truly makes the entire remodeling process as simple as possible. We are truly blessed to have the best clients in the industry who allow us to turn their outdated spaces into magazine worthy homes.

We would like to share a recent basement in Ashburn, completed by KBF by Audi.

The client’s vision in this project was to create a space that did not feel like a basement, where their entire family could enjoy every inch of the space at the same time. The client knew exactly what they wanted the basement to look like, our goal was to make sure it was as efficient and cohesive as possible.

This project was an entire KBF team effort starting from the design phase all the way through final completion. Our design team started by building the bedroom/office space and bathroom in the part of the basement that gave the most privacy and away from the main entertainment area. We than built the bar, TV area and wine section in the most open part of the basement with the best natural light. We did this so while they are entertaining the space doesn’t feel like a basement. We also designed the gym with large double barn doors, so the client has the ability to keep them open to ensure the basement continuous to feel open.

During the product selection phase, the clients had a specific vision which was literally to create a space that could be put in a magazine. The design team helped select every product for the space that ended up matching perfectly with all the furniture the client had hand picked. While doing a site visit to the house towards the end of the project, the clients young daughter came down after not seeing the space for a couple weeks and said, “this is latterly like living in a pottery barn picture.” After hearing those words, we were super confident that we had achieved the client’s goal of making the space look like a magazine cover.

We are truly blessed to have the best clients in the industry that allow us to take their visions and make them a reality. Thank you Amanda Skinner Gilligan so much for allowing us to be a part of the project, we truly enjoyed the entire process with you guys.
