Why the Lowest Bid Isn't Always the Best Value 💰🎨

When comparing painting bids, the lowest number can be tempting. But what looks like a great deal upfront may cost more in the long run.

A lower bid can sometimes mean less prep, lower quality materials, fewer coats, or a limited scope of work.
When comparing contractors, look beyond the bottom line. Consider what's included, the products being used, the preparation involved, experience, communication, and how long you can expect the finished work to last.

The best value isn't always the cheapest price. It's getting the quality and service you expect for the investment you're making.

5 Things Property Managers Should Know Before Hiring a Painting Contractor 🏢🎨

Hiring the right painting contractor can make a huge difference, especially when you're managing an occupied property.

1️⃣ Prep matters. A quality repaint starts with proper surface preparation.
2️⃣ Ask what's actually included. Make sure you understand the scope, prep work, materials, and cleanup.
3️⃣ Communication is key. You want a contractor who keeps you informed from start to finish.
4️⃣ Scheduling matters. Commercial projects often require coordination around residents, tenants, employees, and building operations.
5️⃣ Don't automatically choose the lowest bid. Look at experience, workmanship, communication, and overall value.

The right painting contractor should make your job easier, not create more work for you.

🎨 MYTH BUSTERS: You Only Need One Coat of Paint
▶️Not always!

While one coat can work in certain situations, most interior and exterior projects benefit from two coats for more consistent coverage, color, durability, and a professional finish. Especially when you're making a dramatic color change, covering a darker color, or painting a heavily used area, that second coat can make a big difference.

A quality paint job isn't about getting it done as quickly as possible. It's about getting it done right!

Why Homeowners Love a Black & White Color Scheme 🖤🤍

There’s a reason this combination keeps showing up on exterior homes. Black and white is classic, versatile, and makes a statement without feeling trendy.

White keeps the exterior bright and clean, while black adds contrast through doors, shutters, trim, or accents. Together, they can give almost any home a fresh, updated look while complementing a variety of architectural styles.

Thinking about a black and white exterior? We can help bring the vision to life!

✔ How much will it cost?
✔ How long will the project take?

☀️ Why Premium Paint Is Worth It in Colorado's Climate

Colorado's weather is anything but predictable. Intense UV rays, snow, hail, and dramatic temperature swings all take a toll on your home's exterior.

That's why we use premium exterior coatings like Sherwin Williams Duration® and Sherwin Williams Emerald®. These high performance products are designed to stand up to the elements and provide:

✔ Exceptional fade resistance against Colorado's intense sunshine
✔ Flexible coatings that expand and contract with changing temperatures
✔ Outstanding durability against moisture and harsh weather
✔ Rich, long lasting color and finish
✔ Better protection for your home's biggest investment

While premium paint may cost a little more upfront, it often lasts longer, looks better, and helps delay the need for your next repaint, making it a smart investment for your home.

Quality workmanship deserves quality products, and that's why we never cut corners.
