Smoke was in the air. Briskets were judged. Reputations were on the line.

Today's BBQ Pitmaster Competition featured three legendary Sheffield contenders: Rib Ranger, Grill Sergeant, and Smokahontas. Armed with secret recipes, smoky confidence, and a healthy dose of trash talk, they battled for BBQ glory while trade partners Tom Lauhon, Laura Kunze, and Gary Smith served as the official judges.

While only one could claim the title of Pitmaster (Mark), everyone walked away a winner—especially those of us enjoying the incredible lunch spread! Great food, great partners, and a great team. We may build homes for a living, but today we built some pretty great memories, too.
