Tusker Roofing is Hiring — Part-Time Project Manager (Potential for Full-Time)
We are looking for a friendly, dependable person to help manage our roofing jobs and represent Tusker Roofing in the community.
No roofing experience is needed. We can teach you what you need to know. This job does not require climbing ladders or getting on roofs. In fact, we do not want our Project Managers getting on the roof. Your job is to manage the project, communicate with the homeowner, document the work, and make sure things run smoothly from the ground.
Our office is in Arrington, just off I-840 at the Triune exit. Most of our work is in Williamson, Rutherford, and Davidson counties.
The job may include:
* Getting the truck and materials ready before a job
* Being at the jobsite by about 6:45 AM
* Talking with homeowners and keeping them updated
* Taking photos throughout the day
* Making sure crews have what they need
* Keeping an eye on materials and cleanup
* Using a phone, apps, camera, and sometimes a drone
* Driving a company vehicle
* Helping at festivals, trade shows, community events, and parades
Roofing days start early and can be long. Depending on the job, you may need to be at our Arrington office as early as 5:30 AM to get the truck and materials ready. We normally work until the job is finished, it gets dark, or weather makes us stop.
This will start as part-time, as-needed work, but hours may grow as we get busier. For the right person, it could eventually become a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position.
This could be a great fit for someone who is retired or semi-retired and wants to stay active and earn some extra money, or someone looking for a part-time job that could grow into something more.
You must be dependable, enjoy talking with people, be comfortable with technology, be able to work outside, and be able to lift up to 80 lbs when needed.
