Another Bee Happy build is taking shape in Jacksonville, TX. This 40x40x14 enclosed shop with a full wrap-around porch now has its full steel framework erected and coated with industrial-grade red oxide primer.

Why primer matters: Red oxide primer is a rust-inhibiting coating that protects bare steel from moisture and corrosion. It also gives the finish coat a solid base to bond to, which helps the building hold up in East Texas weather.

What's coming next:
* Sheeting, trim, and R-11 Vinyl Insulation
* Two 12x12 roll-up doors, color matched to the building
* Two man doors
