On today's "On The Boards", check out this new lake house we're working on in Hillsboro, MO. This stunning home is just a little over 2,000 square feet on the main level, with the master suite upstairs and plenty of gallery space to display the owners artwork. The lower level is finished as well with two more bedrooms, and a large open entertaining area. This home is just as beautiful from the road, as it is from the lake as well.

Last week, we finished up the construction drawings for this new home to be built right on Ballas Road in Des Peres, MO. This home is 4,500 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths. It also features a very intricate floating stair case, large entertaining spaces on the main level with a butler pantry that can double as a second kitchen, and a reading room on the second level with a window seat. The lower level is also finished with an additional bedroom and bathroom, with a bar, home gym and a living room perfect for entertaining or relaxing. This home will be built by NJL Custom Homes and will hit the market here probably pretty soon.

A lot of people think we design homes locally, but that isn't the truth, check out this house we designed in a lake community in Texas. This is a 4,200 square foot home, 5 bedrooms, 4 1/2 baths on the main and second level. It also has a guest suite attached to the rear that can be used for overnight company, a pool house, or an office of the owner away from the main residence. To date, we've designed homes in Texas, Arizona, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Typically we work remotely with these clients, and sometimes we will travel to these locations as well. So no matter where you want to build a home, we can help!

Yesterday we wrapped up plans for this new ranch home to be built in Wildwood, MO. This stunning transitional style home features 2,700 square feet on the main level with 3 beds and 2.5 baths with tall ceilings and large open spaces. The lower level is also finished with an additional bedroom and bathroom as well as a game room. Below the garage in this home is also more entertaining spaces that will feature a golf simulator. This house will hit the market once it's under construction, so don't miss out on your chance to purchase it!

Today, we'll share a small little cabin we designed a few years ago, this was to be an AirBnb rental cabin in southern Missouri. This is built into a hillside that has panoramic views of the landscape surrounding, with a creek right at it's base. Just a simple one bedroom, one bathroom cabin, it's a perfect retreat to unwind, disconnect from all the stress of life, and reconnect with the one you love.

Over the weekend, I was in the Lafayette Square Area and I drove by this project to see how it's coming along. It's nearing completion. This building is a multi use project, the main level is all commercial spaces, with apartments on the upper floors. This building is 75,000 square feet total. There are a total of 34 apartments, two bedroom, two and a half baths total, and they are two story in height. There is also a lounge area on the roof where you can take in views of downtown St. Louis.

Once again, yesterday I visited a site in Bonne Terre, MO in Terre Du Lac lake resort, driving through the community, a house caught my eye, and I remembered, we designed this home back in 2022. This home is 4200 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The center section is one large two story space with large spans of glazing to take advantage of the panoramic views of the lake. The lower level has another 2000 square feet finished, perfect for entertaining at the lake. We also designed the boat house for this home as well, which has two boat slips, fully enclosed like a garage, and a boat house with a swim deck for entertaining on the water. It truly caught my eye driving through the development.

Yesterday I got to go visit this beautiful home we designed back in 2024, this home is in High Ridge, MO on about 25 acres of land. This two story is home is approximately 5,600 square feet, 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths with a bonus room on the second level for the kids to hang out in. The basement in this house is still unfinished with a full walkout in the rear. There are beautiful views from the rear of this home that you can see for miles. We hope this family enjoys their home for years to come.
