Meridian 2250 Picnic & Intern Video Contest Award Ceremony

On August 11th, Paradigm interns came together with Property Managers and corporate team members for one of the final intern gatherings of the summer.

The event was an opportunity to reconnect, celebrate the work accomplished throughout the season, and recognize the creativity that our interns brought to this year’s Intern Video Contest. From unique concepts to impressive editing, this year’s submissions made selecting the winners no easy task!

🥉 3rd Place: Logan Hammond, Leasing Intern | Meridian at Braddock Station

We also want to recognize Anh Phan, Leasing Intern at Meridian at Eisenhower Station, and Preyashi Wozageer, Leasing Agent at Carlyle Place, who received special Creativity Awards for their standout submissions as well as Salvador Montes de Oca IV for his top performance out of the Accounting/Development/Finance Corporate Interns. 🎉

The contest is always a fun way to see our interns bring their own perspectives and personalities to the work they do, and this year's group certainly delivered.

As the summer internship season begins to come to a close, we want to thank every intern who spent their summer with us. We’re proud of everything this group has accomplished and we're excited to see what their next chapters will bring.

Intern Intro- Meher Sobhani

At Paradigm Companies, we take pride in fostering the next generation of real estate leaders through our summer internship program. Today, we are excited to introduce Meher Sobhani, our Leasing Intern working on-site this summer at Meridian at Mt Vernon Triangle!

Meher is a rising junior at George Washington University (GWU), where she is majoring in Finance & Real Estate. Her academic background provides a strong foundation for diving into the dynamic world of multifamily property management.

Bridging the Professional & Personal in Property Management

This summer, Meher is focusing on a crucial aspect of the leasing lifecycle: mastering the balance between professional business strategy and the personal experience of helping people find their perfect apartment home. Her time with the Paradigm team allows her to gain hands-on, client-facing experience that bridges classroom theory with real-world real estate operations.

Life Outside the Office

• Exploring the District: When she isn't assisting future residents, Meher is looking forward to exploring different Washington, D.C. neighborhoods, with The Wharf sitting at the top of her summer bucket list! 🌊☀️
• Fun Fact: Meher is multilingual and speaks Hindi! 🗣️

Happy National Nonprofit Day! 💙

At Paradigm, we believe that being part of a community means finding ways to give back to it.

Throughout the year, we are proud to support nonprofit organizations and community initiatives that make a meaningful difference in the areas we call home. Whether we're volunteering our time, collecting donations, partnering with local organizations, or bringing our teams and residents together for a cause, we're always looking for opportunities to lend a hand.

From our ongoing efforts with Move For Hunger or preparing snack bags for children attending the Affordable Homes & Communities summer camp, giving back remains an important part of who we are.

Intern Intro- Patrick Gannon

Welcoming Patrick Gannon: Leasing Intern at Parc Meridian at Eisenhower Station

Please join us in welcoming Patrick Gannon, our Leasing Intern at Parc Meridian at Eisenhower Station in Alexandria, Virginia. Patrick is a rising senior at Gettysburg College, where he is studying as a Business Management and Organizations Major.

This summer marks an exciting milestone for Patrick as he steps into a professional office environment for the first time. He is highly motivated to learn the ins and outs of the real estate industry, sharpen his customer service skills, and build meaningful professional relationships. His academic focus on organizational management will bring valuable insights to our leasing operations.

While many of our interns travel from different areas of the country, Patrick is already an expert on the local region. A lifelong resident of the D.C. Metro area, he loves sharing his deep knowledge of the local community. This summer, he is looking forward to meeting new people and launching his career in his hometown market. Intern Intro- Asabea Owureku-Asare

Welcoming Asabea Owureku-Asare: Leasing Intern at Madison at Ballston Station

We are thrilled to welcome Asabea Owureku-Asare to our team this summer as a Leasing Intern at Madison at Ballston Station in Arlington, Virginia. Asabea joins us from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst), where she is pursuing her degree as an Accounting Major.

During her internship, Asabea is eager to dive deep into the multifamily housing industry. She looks forward to mastering the leasing role, understanding property construction, exploring affordable housing initiatives, and developing strong resident communication skills. Her analytical accounting background paired with her passion for housing development makes her a fantastic asset to our Arlington team.

Outside of the office, Asabea is excited to experience the vibrant culture of the Washington, D.C. metro area. She is highly looking forward to bonding with her fellow summer interns, building a network of new friends, and exploring the local neighborhood. Please join us in giving Asabea a warm welcome!
