Traditional spa covers, made with EPS foam cores wrapped in v***r barriers and cloth or vinyl shells, have a hidden cost. Water absorption leads to:
• Energy Waste: Reduced energy efficiency (R-Value) due to waterlogged foam cores. This report shows a 25% loss of R-Value in just 1 week when EPS foam is exposed to water in cold weather.

• Less Foam, More Efficiency: Using our patented laminated foam core technology, all Advanced Spa Covers use about 20% less foam while simultaneously increasing the R-Value by a minimum of 25% per inch of thickness. Less foam means less impact on our natural resources and higher R-Values leads to less energy used. It just makes sense.
• Waterproof Excellence: Our covers are the only ones using closed-cell XPS insulation board, absorbing only 3/10th of 1% water weight by volume. Compare that to traditional covers, which can soak up a whopping +40% water weight by volume. Imagine the difference – 46 lbs. versus just 3 lbs. over the cover’s life for an 8’ x 8’ square cover. This saves energy and increases the life expectancy of your cover, while saving your back from lifting heavy waterlogged covers too.
