It’s been a long journey, but the is finally DONE!

Just a short 1.5 years ago, this was a carpeted hallway with a 4x4 beam running down the middle. We framed it in + a door, laid flooring, ran new electrical, did built-ins and board and batton, and painted it all Iron Ore from .

Now it’s time to build a new desk and get some new pictures up. But for now….enjoy an adult beverage in my now moody surroundings.

Not the biggest build, but was excited when asked me if I would make something for her son’s school auction and you know I jumped to help a friend. Hoping these 2 pieces bring in some good cash to help!

It looks a little like a Star Wars imperial cargo shuttle, but these are the legs for the inspired desk I am building for a friend.

I got the ash all tapered and the sort-of-half-lap cut and glued up. Lots of over marking and quadruple checking before cutting, but they turned out sweet!

Next up is the stretchers and doing a Shou sugi ban preserved top.

An unused coat closet will now be the centerpiece of this . Shout-out to for the inspiration.
