We are seeking a project manager to oversee elevator projects from start to finish, including contract approval documents, change order management, and assisting office administrative team with close-out documents to ensure a quality and profitable delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Effectively communicate company and installation needs with property managers, subcontractors and building owners to drive completion effectiveness and customer success.
Work as the initial point of contact for customers in order to provide them with updates and set expectations of job timelines
Respond to RFI's in a timely manner to avoid issues with completion
Provide feedback on progress to our company owners on a weekly basis
Coordinate with Manufacturing to ensure project is on schedule
Attend onsite project meetings as needed
Develop a plan and manage any re-work or punch list items
Obtain project sign-offs from the customer
File for permits and inspections if required
Verify job site is ready prior to installation start dates by visiting and documenting conditions
Visit job sites during installation as required
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 3 years of elevator specific industry experience, understanding of cost estimating, scheduling and contract administration. Ability to read and understand specs and construction related documents. Must be a team player and self-starter.
