More sanding on this rifle!! I was surprised that where the owner thought there was water damage appears to be some oily deposits that have discolored the finish. Glad to see the wood was protected despite being submerged in water!

Got to be careful and sand certain parts by hand. On most of the stock though, I'll get out my handy dandy sander to buff out deep scratches.

Just got an order to refinish this gun stock and handguard. This gun was in a flood and the owner wants some of the water damage repaired.

I helped plant this cherry tree more than 20 years ago. I was asked by my mom to chop it down recently. It will need to dry and cure for a bit, but that's what Arizona does best! Someday, my childhood cherry tree will be sitting in a wonderful workshop helping create sweet works and memories, almost as sweet as the fruit it produced over the years.
