Samara House, our new 24,000 SF addition to Stonegates is set on a picturesque 36-acre campus in Greenville, Delaware.
Through master planning and design consultation, we worked closely with Stonegates to assess existing assets, identify opportunities for renewal, and align future development with resident needs and market expectations.
Inspired by the samara, the winged maple seed that finds its place naturally, Samara House is designed around the belief that supported living should feel as refined and personal as any chapter of life.
The buildings form draws from the samara seed itself, its graceful, curving geometry echoing the natural arc of a maple seed in flight.
Our design inspiration includes wood and stone accents that ground Samara House in its natural surroundings and the materials and craftsmanship found throughout the Stonegates landscape.
The courtyard features a revolving bronze samara sculpture by artist and sculptor André Harvey.
Nature is woven throughout, from a lush green roof and terraces to serene courtyards that invite residents to unwind and connect with the landscape.
