PhiBa Architecture at the Venice Biennale

We had the chance to visit the Biennale of Architecture in the beautiful city of Venice. Among the many inspiring works, we were thrilled to see an installation designed by our good friends and design collaborators Shift Space. Their concept VENd is a creative, sustainable, and flexible market stand that reimagines how design can adapt to communities and environments. Kudos to the Shift Space team for such a thoughtful and innovative project! 👏

Of course, our visit wasn’t only about architecture—we also enjoyed the city itself: its rich history, extraordinary design, and (naturally) the incredible food. 🍝🍷

This marks the first stop of our journey through Northern Italy and the South of France. Along the way, we’re exploring unique cities and visiting remarkable hotels as we look for opportunities to expand our work into these inspiring regions.

Transformation Underway in Costa Rica

We’re thrilled to share a first look at our renovation of a 415-room beachfront resort that will soon become the first-ever JW Marriott All-Inclusive in Costa Rica.

This drone video captures just a glimpse of the scale and potential of this exceptional property. Our team at PhiBa Architecture is currently finalizing the construction documents and moving through the permitting phase—getting everything ready to start demolition as soon as possible.

This project represents more than just a renovation—it’s about reimagining hospitality, combining JW Marriott elegance with the vibrancy of Costa Rican culture and landscape.

🎥 HD Expo + Conference 2025 | Las Vegas

The PhiBa team had an incredible time walking the floor at HD Vegas—one of the leading hospitality design events of the year! From catching up with old friends to making exciting new connections, it was an inspiring experience packed with innovation and creativity.

We explored cutting-edge design concepts, discovered game-changing products, and connected with talented professionals from across the industry. From FF&E to finishes, lighting to layout, the event was a reminder of how design and procurement go hand in hand to shape unforgettable guest experiences.

🙌 Thank you to everyone who welcomed us into their booths, shared ideas, and contributed to such a vibrant atmosphere. We left Vegas recharged, inspired, and full of fresh ideas for our upcoming projects.

Exciting Progress in Punta Cana!

We’re thrilled to share a construction update from one of our most ambitious hospitality projects — a 250-room hotel in the heart of Punta Cana. The team is currently pouring concrete for the 2nd floor columns and preparing rebar and formwork for the 3rd floor slab.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see our design taking shape. What started as sketches and 3D models is now transforming into a stunning reality, one concrete pour at a time.

A huge thanks to our partners, collaborators, and the entire on-site team for bringing this vision to life. We can't wait to see the full experience come together.

We are thrilled to finally share that PhiBa Architecture is the design team behind the upcoming JW Marriott All-Inclusive Resort in Costa Rica. Thank you to our client and Marriott International for placing their trust in us.

This marks a historic moment — the first-ever JW Marriott all-inclusive resort — and we are honored to be part of it. Located in the breathtaking Guanacaste province, the resort is envisioned as a destination where refined luxury meets the spirit of Costa Rica’s natural beauty and cultural richness.

Attending HD Summit at Hilton Tulum was an electrifying experience! Surrounded by the brightest minds in hospitality design, we delved into the future of luxury, sustainability, and guest experience. Every conversation sparked new ideas, and every session challenged us to think bolder.

We were especially inspired by the insights of Dr. Aadeel Akhtar, who redefined the possibilities of innovation, Greg Hoffman, whose creativity has shaped some of the most iconic brands, and Dr. Sian Proctor, whose perspective as an astronaut reminded us that design has no limits—even beyond Earth!
