A brighter, more useful workspace! Kilowatt Electric replaced the incandescent lighting in this customer’s storage room with LED strip fixtures, improving visibility while reducing energy use.

We also added a GFCI-protected receptacle at the workbench, plus a new receptacle and upgraded lighting in the electrical room.

Better connections, added power, and room to grow.

Kilowatt Electric ran new Cat6 cabling to access points for this customer’s security camera setup and terminated the cables with RJ45 connectors. We also installed two spare raceways from the attic to the basement for future wiring, added a receptacle for the security rack, and wired the gym for wall sconces the homeowner will install.

This project came with some challenging routing, but our crew got it done, and planned ahead for what this homeowner may need next.

Small homes, big glow! Kilowatt Electric installed more than 70 customer-provided landscape lights at this tiny-home Airbnb park, helping illuminate pathways and make the grounds more welcoming after dark.

Our crew trenched in the wiring and completed the necessary splices using silicone-filled connectors rated for underground use.

We love working with these returning customers and appreciate their continued trust in us. We hope their guests enjoy the extra light along the paths!

A tripped breaker shouldn’t turn into a refrigerator full of spoiled food.

This customer called after a GFCI breaker tripped and shut off the refrigerator, spoiling their groceries. During our diagnostic visit, we found the refrigerator shared a GFCI-protected circuit with other kitchen appliances.

Kilowatt Electric installed a dedicated refrigerator circuit and separated it from the kitchen countertop receptacle circuit. Now, a trip on the countertop circuit won’t shut off the refrigerator.

Another happy customer, and a kitchen better suited to their everyday needs!

New heat pump. New air handler. And the power to get them running!

Kilowatt Electric recently completed the electrical work for this customer’s new heating and cooling system, installing the circuits needed to power the new heat pump and air handler.

Of course, not every part of the job is glamorous. Sometimes getting the job done means crawling through tight, dirty spaces and coming out covered in insulation and dirt. 😅 But our crew loves what we do, and knowing the job was done safely and correctly makes it all worthwhile.
