The proven standard... is Crestmark.

NAAWS 5.0 launched recently and will go into effect starting September 1st, 2026. The cover features Crestmark's installation in the Prism Apartments at 1028 Market Street in SF (as photographed by the exceptional ). The project won a Woodwork Institute award recognizing exceptional craftsmanship and installation of architectural millwork.

The North American Architectural Woodwork Standards, jointly developed by AWMAC and the Woodwork Institute, defines standards and practices for the entire woodworking industry from top to bottom. NAAWS 5.0 is live as a searchable web platform alongside print and PDF. NAAWS only gets a major update every 5-10 years, so this cover will represent the industry for years to come.

Perched on the bay, this Treasure Island residential amenity space was designed to feel like an extension of the weather around it 🌊

Crestmark crafted the amenity spaces for this luxury apartment building with warm white oak finishes and the crisp, precise lines of custom slat walls. Irregular angles set a modern tone while echoing the natural rhythm of the bay and the island's dynamic winds and light.

The project has since earned recognition on multiple fronts: the AIA East Bay Multi-Family Residential Citation Award (2025 Design Awards), which recognized the building's climate-responsive architecture and its white pearlescent rainscreen cladding, and the Chicago Athenaeum's Green Good Design Award.

Big things happening at Crestmark! We're excited to bring a new, dedicated CNC machine online for our Solid Surface division 🔧💪

So what does that mean? A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine uses computer-guided precision to cut and shape material with speed and accuracy that manual work simply can't match. For our team, that means faster production, tighter tolerances, and flawless consistency on every acrylic solid surface countertop we produce.

There's no place like home. We built this beautiful reception desk for the lobby at Hinarr Hu Moulik, Cal Poly Humboldt's new student housing complex. The name means "Our House/Home" in the Wiyot language. That sense of belonging inspired our team here at Crestmark to create a custom design that welcomes residents home.

The locally sourced, live-edge redwood slab represents the towering old-growth forests that define Humboldt County. We let the wood do the talking: its natural curves, deep grain, and organic edge weren't sanded away or squared off. Paired with a sleek matte-black base, the desk balances raw, unpolished nature with clean modern lines. Humboldt ecology meets contemporary design.

It's an honor to keep providing world-class millwork to local clients right here in our own backyard.

Proud to share a project close to home: a custom cultural archive built for the Northern California Indian Development Council's office in Old Town Eureka.

The NCIDC worked with renowned local Architect Kash Boodjeh to design the prominent friendship pattern showcased in the jagged lines of the artifact display case. Kash's design was then hand-crafted from solid redwood, sourced right here in Humboldt County, by our team at Crestmark. A 100% local Humboldt collab!

The display was unveiled with a Wiyot Brush Dance and ribbon-cutting ceremony. NCIDC Chief Executive Officer Madison Flynn described the new exhibit as "a tribute to the strength and resilience of our communities," as well as a "reminder that [Native] traditions, languages and stories will continue to thrive in the future."

Grateful to have played a part in preserving these stories for generations to come.

A Summer BBQ delivered on time and done right, the Crestmark way! After all the hard work our team puts in, we were ready to trade the office for the outdoors. We headed up to Camp Bauer in beautiful Blue Lake for a day of sunshine, good company, and even better food (courtesy of Smokin Amens BBQ and Catering). We appreciate everyone who helped pull off another amazing team event! A great day to be a Crestmarker!
