🚧 We officially broke ground on the EaRTH Center! 🚧

This week marked an exciting milestone as we celebrated the groundbreaking of the Eureka Regional Transit & Housing (EaRTH) Center in downtown Eureka.

This one-of-a-kind project will bring together affordable housing, regional transportation, and commercial space - creating 45 affordable homes, a new Humboldt Transit Authority hub, and new opportunities in the heart of our community.

We’re incredibly proud to help bring this long-awaited vision to life alongside the City of Eureka, Humboldt Transit Authority, and the many partners who have worked for years to make this project possible.

For Danco, this groundbreaking is especially meaningful. Not only are we building much-needed housing and infrastructure right here at home, but we’re also creating local construction jobs and giving many of our team members the opportunity to build in the community where they live. 💙

The Danco Group Announces Parking Lot Closure at EaRTH Center Site

Eureka, California - August 13, 2026.
The Danco Group is providing notice of a parking lot closure at the EaRTH Center site in Eureka (3rd Street, between G & H Street) for upcoming project activities. The closure is anticipated to remain in effect for the duration of the project. Community members and visitors are encouraged to observe posted signage and access restrictions.

Parking Lot Closure: August 17, 2026 – June 1, 2028

The schedule is subject to change based on construction progress, site conditions, weather, and other factors. Updates will be provided.

Teamwork doesn’t stop when the workday ends—it just moves to the softball field. 🥎

One of the many ways we stay active, build stronger connections, and enjoy time together outside of work is through our local softball league. From great plays to plenty of laughs, it’s been a fun reminder that the relationships we build off the job make us even stronger on it.

Mariposa Place is a seven-story, 80-unit permanent supportive housing community in the heart of San Jose. Designed to provide safe, high-quality housing and on-site supportive services, the community was built to foster stability, connection, and new beginnings.

At our ribbon cutting, one resident shared words we'll never forget:

"We all came from different walks of life, but we all have the same goal in mind... progress. I've had many conversations with my neighbors, and the common goal is progression. We're not trauma bonding—we're healing. We're growing past it all."

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. At Danco, we're proud to build communities that provide more than housing—they create spaces where people can heal, grow, and build a brighter future.

It was inspiring to see students dive into hands-on learning, explore new ideas, and get excited about their future possibilities. Events like this remind us how important it is to invest in our youth and create opportunities for curiosity, growth, and discovery. We’re honored to be part of such a meaningful experience! 💙
