🎉 CASiversary Alert! 🎉

For the past year, Dog-Gone Right has had its very own Plumbing Ken. Except this Ken is a Master Plumber, can probably bench press your water heater, and believes Skittles count as a balanced breakfast.

Trey is our resident meathead in the best possible way. There is a very real chance you’ll catch him at the gym before work, at lunch, after work, or possibly all three. We’re honestly not sure when he rests.

But underneath all that muscle is a devoted family man. He coaches his kiddo’s baseball team, loves family trips to the beach, and can talk International tractors with the kind of enthusiasm most people reserve for SEC football.

Over the past year, Trey has brought serious skill, experience, personality, and a whole lot of protein-fueled energy to the Dog-Gone Right team. As a Master Plumber, he knows his trade. As a teammate, he’s made his mark. And as Plumbing Ken... well, that title is his until further notice.

Trey, we’re glad you’re here, proud to have you on the team, and still deeply concerned about the Skittles-for-breakfast situation. Happy CASiversary! 💙🐾

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸🎉

We kicked off the Fourth of July weekend the CAS way: together. 💙

Last night was Employee Appreciation Night, and CAS treated the team and their families to a night at the Rocket City Trash Pandas game, complete with tickets, food, drinks, and plenty of good company.

Did it rain? Absolutely. Did that stop us? Not even a little.

We laughed, we ate, we braved the rain, and we made some pretty great memories with the people who make CAS what it is.

These photos only capture some of the folks who joined us, but we’re grateful for every employee and family member who came out to celebrate with us.

Here’s to 250 years of America, a long holiday weekend, and making time for the people who matter most. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Listen, it's hot, and your AC is feeling it too.

On extreme heat days, your system may run longer than usual or cool more slowly, especially during the hottest part of the afternoon. Sometimes, it may sit a few degrees above the thermostat setting while it works to pull heat and humidity out of the home.

How to help your AC out, because she is fighting for her life:

Close the blinds. We are not giving the sun free access.

Change the air filter. If it looks like it has a beard, it's been time.

Keep vents open and clear. Your couch does not need the cold air more than you do.

Maybe don’t run the oven, dryer, and dishwasher at 3 PM like you’re trying to heat the whole neighborhood.

Use ceiling fans. Let them do their little spinny job.

And please, stop panic-dropping the thermostat. Setting it to 62 will not make it cool faster. It just tells your AC, “Good luck, bestie.”

That said, your AC should still be cooling. If it’s blowing warm air, airflow feels weak, the temperature keeps climbing, or something just feels off, give us a call.
