Before you crank that outdoor faucet all the way open, do a quick check:

Look for drips behind the handle when the hose is running.

Make sure your hoses aren't left pressurized in the baking sun (the water inside can boil, expand, and ruin your hose or cause a sudden burst at the spigot!).

Disconnect hoses when not in use to protect the backflow preventer.

MPD was called in to respond to a major sewer line collapse approximately 10 feet underground at a local plant in Augusta. Working alongside AIS, our team coordinated and executed the entire repair process—from demolition and excavation to sewer line repairs, site cleanup, and concrete restoration.

Thanks to the combined efforts of both teams, the project was completed in less than a day, allowing the plant to resume full operations within 48 hours of the initial call.

With the big milestone comes a lot of celebration—which usually means houses packed with out-of-town family, back-to-back parties, and kitchens working overtime. 🥳🍽️
