Meet Sovereign HQ: the Atelier — featuring a familiar moody palette (a lot like our personal space, located on the next floor up), albeit with some different tones and finishes. Plywood, stained black upstairs, is left plain down in the Atelier — a perfect neutral backdrop for samples and project materials. We designed a giant bookshelf system and large multi-function tables to define the space, all inspired by Donald Judd’s library in Marfa.

We’ve been here for four years already, and it’s time for a refresh — we’ll be sharing updates as we go, but feel free to stop by and see the transformation in person.

north cook street, work-in-progress — we’ve been collecting pieces with our fabulous clients over the past few months from some of our favorite places before we start a large-scale renovation next year… seen here: dark green vintage leather C.A.B. chairs by mario bellini and an ebonized oak dining table from perennial faves / a knotted paracord sculpture by from / a danish ox-art tiled sideboard our client sniped at auction a few weeks ago… stay tuned 👀
