Uncensored with Chad. We asked Chad what’s the one landscape feature that is worth every penny. His answer? It’s a personal preference. Some people have pools and heat them April through November, and for them nothing beats it. But overall Chad says a fire feature. Whether it is gas or wood, a fire pit or fireplace, there’s something about a fire feature that changes the way people use their outdoor space. It creates ambience and a place to gather giving you a reason to stay outside longer. It’s not just a feature it’s where people end up at the end of the night.

When it still feels like summer but pumpkin season is here. We’ve got giant ceramic pumpkins riding sh***un in the F350 and pumpkins weighing down the Escape. Four pedestal planters to plant, two wall beds, three porch planters and a partridge in a pear tree. Actually we’ll get to that partridge next season. Let’s enjoy fall first.

Uncensored with Chad-Equipment Addition. 30 years in the industry teaches you what works and what doesn’t. Chad breaks down the five pieces of equipment worth every penny as a landscaper.
1. Skidsteer. The first thing we ever bought. It’s universal in every application whether it’s hardscapes, lawns or a planting. If you own a piece of equipment, make it this.
2. Mini Excavator. It’s all about efficiency.
3. Vermeer Walk Behind Compact Track Loader. Another universal piece of equipment and it excels in tight spaces.
And then there are a two more proprietary pieces Chad won’t talk about….

Early mornings, long days, and landscape projects to be proud of. We’re not done yet. As long as the weather is kind to us, we’ll work as long as we can into winter. With the right project and cooperation of weather we can work on certain landscape and paver patio projects throughout the year.

Ever wonder how 90 yards of mulch gets delivered with a semi truck? Meet the walking floor trailer. The floor literally walks mulch right out the back with it’s hydraulic driven slatted floor. It unloads the hardwood mulch in about 10-15 minutes. So cool and super satisfying to watch.
