🏈💚 Football season has a way of bringing people together. 💚🏈

Tonight, the Packers take the field for their first preseason game and it won't be long before backyards across Wisconsin are filled with family, friends, good food, and plenty of cheering.

There's something special about watching the game outside on a beautiful patio as summer slowly gives way to fall. It's where stories are shared, kids play in the yard, and some of the best memories are made.

This Oshkosh project was more than a backyard renovation—it was a complete transformation of the entire outdoor living experience.

💧🌿 A little water goes a long way. 🌿💧

The summer heat can be tough on lawns, trees, shrubs, and perennial gardens. One thing we like to remind our customers is that unless you've made separate arrangements with us, watering isn't included in most maintenance or installation contracts.

If you've recently invested in a new landscape, proper watering is one of the most important things you can do to help it establish and thrive.

Here are a few simple tips:
💧 Water new trees, shrubs, and perennials slowly and deeply at the base. A good soaking is much better than frequent light watering.
🌱 Lawns benefit from deep, infrequent watering too.
⏰ If you have an irrigation system, watering early in the morning helps reduce evaporation and gives your landscape the best chance to soak up the moisture.

And if your lawn starts turning brown during a dry spell, don't panic! Many Wisconsin lawns naturally go dormant to protect themselves. With consistent watering and a little patience, they'll often green back up.

Before ➡️ 3D Design ➡️ After 🌿✨

It’s always fun to see a project go from an idea to the finished space!

Of course, not every project ends up looking exactly like the original 3D design — and that’s completely normal. Plans can change along the way, and when everything is first installed, the new plants still have plenty of growing and filling in to do. 🌱

That’s what makes these Before ➡️ 3D Design ➡️ After photos so fun to look back on. You get to see where we started, the vision our designer created, and how it all came together in the end.

💚 Northeast Wisconsin really knows how to show up.

This week’s storms caused an unbelievable amount of damage throughout our area, including for one of our own Lowney’s families.

But before our crews even got there, dozens of friends and neighbors had already shown up to help. 🥹💚

🌳 Clearing trees
🪵 Moving debris
💪 Bringing equipment
🏡 Helping wherever they could

Our tree crews eventually joined the cleanup too, chipping brush and helping make a dent in what was a pretty overwhelming mess.

And this is happening ALL OVER our area right now.

Neighbors helping neighbors. Friends helping friends. Local businesses stepping up. People simply showing up and asking, “What can I do?” 💚

There’s still plenty of cleanup ahead but this week has definitely reminded us how lucky we are to live and work in Northeast Wisconsin.

To everyone out there lending a hand, checking on someone, bringing food, moving branches, or helping however you can — THANK YOU! 👏💚

We’ve recently been made aware that individuals are showing up at homes and claiming to be with Lowney’s Tree Service. Unfortunately, these individuals are NOT affiliated with Lowney’s.

A few things to keep in mind:

🌳 Our team will arrive in clearly branded Lowney’s vehicles and will be wearing Lowney’s branded apparel.

💵 Be cautious of anyone showing up unexpectedly and asking for payment or a down payment on the spot. Our normal process includes having someone come out to your property and provide an estimate first.

🚛 If someone shows up claiming to be from Lowney’s and something doesn’t seem right, please do not hesitate to verify with us.

The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind for so many in our area following the severe storms and tornado damage. Our phones have been ringing nonstop and we are incredibly grateful for the patience, kindness, and understanding everyone has shown our team.

Right now, our crews are working hard to help our community clean up and recover, with the most urgent and dangerous situations being handled first.

⚠️ Dangerous or hanging limbs
🏡 Storm damage creating an immediate safety concern

If your cleanup is not an emergency, please know we haven’t forgotten about you! We are working through calls as quickly as possible and many non-emergency cleanups are currently being scheduled for next week.

Our team is putting in some long days and we couldn’t be more proud of the way everyone has stepped up to help our neighbors throughout Northeast Wisconsin. 💚

Thank you again for your patience and understanding as we work through the damage one property at a time. We’ll get through this together!

Last week, our Leadership team headed to Scottsdale, Arizona for the Lawn & Landscape Top 100 Summit and Technology Conference! 🌵☀️

It was a great few days of learning, connecting with others in the industry, and bringing home some new ideas for Lowney’s.

But the best part of the trip? We came home with some VERY exciting news! 🤩🏆

We can’t share all the details quite yet… but we promise, it’s worth the wait. 👀 Stay tuned!

And after leaving Scottsdale at a cool 112° on Friday… I think it’s safe to say they were ready to come home to Wisconsin! 😂🥵🌵
